  1  1    Amend Senate File 514, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 23, by inserting after line 26, the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "___.  EFFECTIVE DATES.  Sections 1 and 9 through
  1  6 23 of this Act take effect on July 1 following
  1  7 submission of a final report of the Iowa commission on
  1  8 state and local taxation to the general assembly.  The
  1  9 remainder of this Act takes effect July 1, 2001."
  1 10    #2.  Title page, line 2, by inserting after the
  1 11 word "applicability" the following:  "and providing
  1 12 effective date provisions".
  1 13    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
