1 3 #1. Page 3, by inserting after line 1 the
1 4 following:
1 5 " . The board of directors of each public school
1 6 district and the authorities in charge of each
1 7 nonpublic school shall require that all students
1 8 complete instruction in Iowa history and Iowa heritage
1 9 as follows:
1 10 a. Students in grades kindergarten through five
1 11 shall complete a total of three weeks of such
1 12 instruction.
1 13 b. Students in grades six through eight shall
1 14 complete a total of six weeks of such instruction.
1 15 c. Students in grades nine through twelve shall
1 16 complete a total of one semester of such instruction."
