  1  1    Amend House File 726 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 14, by inserting after line 26, the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  Section 135.102, Code 2001, is amended
  1  5 by adding the following new subsection:
  1  6    NEW SUBSECTION.  6.  Model regulations for lead
  1  7 hazard remediation to be used in instances in which a
  1  8 child is confirmed as lead poisoned.  The department
  1  9 shall make the model regulations available to local
  1 10 boards of health and shall promote the adoption of the
  1 11 regulations at the local level, by cities and
  1 12 counties."
