  1  1    Amend Senate File 342, as passed by the Senate, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting before line 1, the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Section 1.  Section 48A.11, subsection 2, Code
  1  6 2001, is amended by adding the following new
  1  7 paragraph:
  1  8    NEW PARAGRAPH.  c.  A statement that a voter will
  1  9 be required to show identification before being
  1 10 allowed to vote.
  1 11    Sec.    .  Section 48A.11, subsection 3, Code 2001,
  1 12 is amended by adding the following new paragraph:
  1 13    NEW PARAGRAPH.  c.  That a voter will be required
  1 14 to show identification before being allowed to vote."
  1 15    #2.  By renumbering and correcting internal
  1 16 references as necessary.
