  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-1450, to Senate File 348, as
  1  2 amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 3, by striking lines 42 and 43, and
  1  5 inserting the following:
  1  6    "#   .  Page 17, by striking line 1 and inserting
  1  7 the following:  "effect only if 2001 Iowa Acts, Senate
  1  8 File 476 or House File 672 is enacted, and if the
  1  9 general assembly appropriates not less than $40
  1 10 million for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2001,
  1 11 and ending June 30, 2002, for the purpose of funding
  1 12 the implementation of Senate File 476 or House File
  1 13 672.""
