  1  1    Amend House File 356, as passed by the House, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 4, by inserting after line 31, the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.   .  Section 668.13, subsection 3, Code 2001,
  1  6 is amended to read as follows:
  1  7    3.  Interest shall be calculated as of the date of
  1  8 judgment at a rate equal to the coupon issue yield
  1  9 equivalent, as determined by the United States
  1 10 secretary of the treasury, of the average accepted
  1 11 auction price for the last auction of fifty-two week
  1 12 United States treasury bills treasury constant
  1 13 maturity index published by the federal reserve in the
  1 14 H15 Report settled immediately prior to the date of
  1 15 the judgment plus two percent.  The state court
  1 16 administrator shall distribute notice monthly of that
  1 17 rate and any changes to that rate to all district
  1 18 courts."
