  1  1    Amend House File 670 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 12 through 16 and
  1  3 inserting the following:  "the standards established
  1  4 pursuant to section 256.7, subsection 25.
  1  5    The nontraditional teacher preparation program
  1  6 shall include forty-eight credit hours in coursework
  1  7 provided by a traditionally approved practitioner
  1  8 preparation program and a twelve-week student teaching
  1  9 field experience that includes both observation and
  1 10 participation in teaching activities in a variety of
  1 11 school settings.
  1 12    The nontraditional administrator preparation
  1 13 program shall consist of, at a minimum, two".
  1 14    #2.  Page 1, by striking lines 19 through 21, and
  1 15 inserting the following:  "license pursuant to section
  1 16 272.2, subsection 13, paragraph "a".  Prior to
  1 17 licensure as an administrator, a student shall
