  1  1    Amend House File 577 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by inserting before line 1 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  Section 15.354, Code 2001, is amended
  1  5 by adding the following new subsection:
  1  6    NEW SUBSECTION.  4.  New housing constructed, or
  1  7 existing housing rehabilitated, with moneys from the
  1  8 fund shall meet the minimum energy efficiency
  1  9 standards of the state building code as adopted
  1 10 pursuant to section 103A.8A.
  1 11    Sec.    .  Section 16.100, Code 2001, is amended by
  1 12 adding the following new subsection:
  1 13    NEW SUBSECTION.  9.  New housing constructed, or
  1 14 existing housing rehabilitated, with moneys from the
  1 15 fund shall meet the minimum energy efficiency
  1 16 standards of the state building code as adopted
  1 17 pursuant to section 103A.8A.
  1 18    Sec.    .  Section 103A.10, subsection 2, Code
  1 19 2001, is amended by adding the following new
  1 20 paragraph:
  1 21    NEW PARAGRAPH.  c.  To all new housing constructed
  1 22 or existing housing rehabilitated with moneys from the
  1 23 funds established under sections 15.354 or 16.100."
  1 24    #2.  Title page, line 1, by inserting after the
  1 25 words "relating to" the following:  "energy,
  1 26 including".
  1 27    #3.  Title page, line 11, by inserting after the
  1 28 word "agencies;" the following:  "addressing energy
  1 29 efficiency standards in housing;".
  1 30    #4.  By renumbering as necessary.
