  1  1    Amend House File 73 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 7 through 14 and
  1  3 inserting the following:
  1  4    "2.  A recognized military veterans organization, a
  1  5 reserve officer training corps, or an honor guard unit
  1  6 of the organization or corps shall be allowed to
  1  7 perform honor guard services on public school property
  1  8 or other public property in this state.  The honor
  1  9 guard services are not a violation of any public
  1 10 policy, rule, regulation, resolution, or ordinance
  1 11 which prohibits the possession or display of rifles or
  1 12 firearms on public school property or other public
  1 13 property in this state."
