  1  1    Amend House File 341 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  By striking everything after the enacting
  1  3 clause and inserting the following:
  1  4    "Section 1.  NEW SECTION.  146A.1  TITLE.
  1  5    This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the
  1  6 "Freedom of Choice Act".
  1  7    Sec. 2.  NEW SECTION.  146A.2  FREEDOM OF CHOICE.
  1  8    A woman in this state shall have the right to
  1  9 personal bodily integrity and autonomy and a woman's
  1 10 reproductive rights shall be protected.  State and
  1 11 local governments shall not restrict the right of a
  1 12 woman to choose to terminate a pregnancy before fetal
  1 13 viability or at any time if the termination is
  1 14 necessary to protect the life or health of the woman."
  1 15    #2.  Title page, line 1, by striking the words
  1 16 "informed consent to an abortion and providing" and
  1 17 inserting the following:  "freedom of choice regarding
  1 18 a termination of pregnancy."
  1 19    #3.  Title page, by striking line 2.
