Senate Study Bill 3017

  1  1    Section 1.  Section 7E.6, subsection 3, Code 1999, is
  1  2 amended to read as follows:
  1  3    3.  Any position of membership on the lottery board and the
  1  4 Iowa economic development board shall receive compensation of
  1  5 fifty dollars per day and expenses.
  1  6    Sec. 2.  Section 15.103, unnumbered paragraph 4, Code 1999,
  1  7 is amended to read as follows:
  1  8    Members of the board, the director, and other employees of
  1  9 the department shall be allowed their actual and necessary
  1 10 expenses incurred in the performance of their duties.  All
  1 11 expenses shall be paid from appropriations for those purposes
  1 12 and the department is subject to the budget requirements of
  1 13 chapter 8.  Each member of the board may also be eligible to
  1 14 shall receive compensation as provided in section 7E.6,
  1 15 subsection 3.  
  1 16                           EXPLANATION
  1 17    This bill provides that a member of the Iowa economic
  1 18 development board shall receive compensation of $50 per day
  1 19 and expenses.
