1 1 Section 1. STUDY REQUEST. The legislative council is
1 2 requested to establish an interim committee to study the issue
1 3 of compensating members of boards, committees, commissions,
1 4 and councils of the executive branch of state government. The
1 5 interim committee shall report the findings and
1 6 recommendations of its study, including any proposed
1 7 legislation, to the general assembly as required by the
1 8 legislative council prior to the 2001 Session of the Seventy-
1 9 ninth General Assembly.
1 10 EXPLANATION
1 11 This bill requests the legislative council to establish an
1 12 interim study committee to study the issue of compensating
1 13 members of boards, committees, commissions, and councils of
1 14 the executive branch of state government.
