1 1 Section 1. There is appropriated from the rebuild Iowa
1 2 infrastructure fund to the department of natural resources for
1 3 the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2000, and ending June 30,
1 4 2001, the following amount, or so much thereof as is
1 5 necessary, to be used for the purpose designated:
1 6 To conduct a needs assessment study of floodplain
1 7 infrastructures to enhance protection of local public and
1 8 private properties as provided in section 455B.262, subsection
1 9 1:
1 10 .................................................. $ 250,000
1 11 EXPLANATION
1 12 This bill appropriates $250,000 for fiscal year 2000-2001
1 13 from the rebuild Iowa infrastructure fund to the department of
1 14 natural resources to conduct a floodplain infrastructure needs
1 15 assessment study.
