  1  4 RELATING TO EXPENDITURE OF PRIMARY ROAD FUND MONEYS FOR
  1  5    DUST CONTROL ON CERTAIN MUNICIPAL STREETS.

  1  7 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
  1  8 
  1  9    Section 1.  Section 313.4, subsection 1, unnumbered
  1 10 paragraph 2, Code Supplement 1999, is amended to read as
  1 11 follows:
  1 12    The department may expend moneys from the fund for dust
  1 13 control on a secondary road or municipal street within a
  1 14 municipal street system when there is a notable increase in
  1 15 traffic on the secondary road or municipal street due to
  1 16 closure of a road by the department for purposes of
  1 17 establishing, constructing, or maintaining a primary road.
