1 1 Section 1. NEW SECTION. 455B.189 DISCHARGE POINT
1 2 IDENTIFICATION.
1 3 The department, pursuant to this division, shall consult
1 4 with municipalities and industrial national pollutant
1 5 discharge elimination system permit holders and develop
1 6 guidelines regarding public identification of sites where
1 7 national pollutant discharge elimination system permitted
1 8 discharges occur to state waters.
1 9 EXPLANATION
1 10 This bill provides that the department of natural resources
1 11 shall consult with municipalities and industrial national
1 12 pollutant discharge elimination system permit holders and
1 13 develop guidelines regarding public identification of sites
1 14 where national pollutant discharge elimination system
1 15 permitted discharges occur to state waters.
