  1  1    Amend House File 2351, as passed by the House, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 20 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  During the regular session of the
  1  6 general assembly convening in 2002, the appropriate
  1  7 committees shall review the impact that the exemption
  1  8 enacted in section 1 of this Act has had in the
  1  9 economy and tax revenues of the state.  After
  1 10 reviewing such impact, the appropriate committees
  1 11 shall consider the benefits of expanding the exemption
  1 12 enacted in section 1 of this Act to apply to sales of
  1 13 articles of clothing and footwear regardless of when
  1 14 such sales take place."
