  1  1    Amend Senate File 2452 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 2, by inserting after line 9 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec. 100.  Section 426B.5, subsection 3, paragraph
  1  5 c, subparagraph (4), Code 1999, is amended to read as
  1  6 follows:
  1  7    (4)  A county receiving risk pool assistance in a
  1  8 fiscal year in which the county did not levy the
  1  9 maximum amount allowed for the county's mental health,
  1 10 mental retardation, and developmental disabilities
  1 11 services fund under section 331.424A shall be required
  1 12 to repay the risk pool assistance in during the two
  1 13 succeeding fiscal year years.  The repayment amount
  1 14 shall be limited to the amount by which the actual
  1 15 amount levied was less than the maximum amount
  1 16 allowed.
  1 17    Sec.    .  EFFECTIVE DATE.  Section 100 of this
  1 18 division of this Act, being deemed of immediate
  1 19 importance, takes effect upon enactment."
  1 20    #2.  Title page, line 2, by striking the words "an
  1 21 effective date" and inserting the following:
  1 22 "effective dates".
