  1  1    Amend Senate File 2452 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 11, by inserting after line 22 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  Section 322.3, subsection 14, paragraph
  1  5 b, unnumbered paragraph 1, as enacted by 2000 Iowa
  1  6 Acts, House File 2106, section 1, is amended to read
  1  7 as follows:
  1  8    A manufacturer or importer from temporarily owning
  1  9 an interest in a motor vehicle dealership for the
  1 10 purpose of enhancing opportunities for persons who
  1 11 lack the financial resources to purchase the motor
  1 12 vehicle dealership without such assistance.  A
  1 13 manufacturer or importer may temporarily own an
  1 14 interest in a motor vehicle dealership pursuant to
  1 15 this paragraph only if the manufacturer or importer
  1 16 enters into a contract with a person pursuant to whom
  1 17 which all of the following apply:"
  1 18    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
