  1  1    Amend House File 2378, as passed by the House, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 3, by inserting after line 34 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec. ___.  Section 296.6, Code 1999, is amended to
  1  6 read as follows:
  1  7    296.6  BONDS.
  1  8    If the vote in favor of the issuance of such bonds
  1  9 is equal to at least sixty percent of the total vote
  1 10 cast for and against said proposition at said
  1 11 election, the board of directors shall issue the same
  1 12 and make provision for payment thereof.  The bonds may
  1 13 be sold at public or private sale at a price as may be
  1 14 determined by the board of directors."
