  1  1    Amend the amendment, S-5346, to Senate File 2312,
  1  2 as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 5, by inserting after line 43, the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  Section 166D.9, subsection 4,
  1  6 paragraphs c and d, Code 1999, are amended to read as
  1  7 follows:
  1  8    c.  The epidemiologist must either conduct two
  1  9 successive statistical samplings at least ninety days
  1 10 apart, or conduct statistical samplings according to
  1 11 rules adopted by the department which are consistent
  1 12 with the national pseudorabies eradication program,
  1 13 which reveal no infection within the new breeding
  1 14 swine.
  1 15    d.  The epidemiologist must either conduct two
  1 16 successive statistical samplings ninety days apart of,
  1 17 or conduct statistical samplings according to rules
  1 18 adopted by the department which are consistent with
  1 19 the national pseudorabies eradication program, which
  1 20 reveal no infection in the herd's progeny at least
  1 21 four months of age which reveal no infection."
  1 22    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
