  1  1    Amend House File 2378, as passed by the House, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting before line 1 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Section 1.  NEW SECTION.  262.76  ASSIGNMENT OF
  1  6 STUDENT TEACHERS – ACCREDITED NONPUBLIC SCHOOLS.
  1  7    The state board of regents shall adopt rules
  1  8 authorizing approved practitioner preparation program
  1  9 faculty to assign a student enrolled in the program to
  1 10 an accredited nonpublic school for student teaching
  1 11 experience if the coursework and the curriculum the
  1 12 student is assigned to teach are nonsectarian,
  1 13 nonreligious, and would reasonably be expected to be
  1 14 taught in any public school district in the state."
  1 15    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
