  1  1    Amend House File 772, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 5, by inserting after line 8 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "___.  Notwithstanding any contrary provision of
  1  6 this subsection, of the amount appropriated in this
  1  7 subsection for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1999,
  1  8 up to $300,000 may be used to provide implementation
  1  9 grants to heritage tourism organizations that have the
  1 10 congressional heritage designation and have authorized
  1 11 matching funds."
