1 3 #1. Page 7, by striking lines 20 and 21 and
1 4 inserting the following:
1 5 "Sec. . Section 237A.3A, subsection 3,
1 6 paragraph d, subparagraph (1), Code 1999, is amended
1 7 to read as follows:
1 8 (1) Four levels of registration requirements are
1 9 applicable to registered child care homes in
1 10 accordance with subsections 10 through 13 and rules
1 11 adopted to implement this section. The rules shall
1 12 apply requirements to each level for the amount of
1 13 space available per child, provider qualifications and
1 14 training, and other minimum standards. The rules
1 15 shall not apply other facility requirements in
1 16 addition to requirements for the amount of space
1 17 available per child to those child care homes in which
1 18 the registration holders reside in the child care
1 19 homes."
1 20 #2. Page 13, line 11, by inserting after the word
1 21 "facilities." the following: "The rules shall not
1 22 apply other physical facility standards in addition to
1 23 the standards for the amount of space available per
1 24 child to those child care homes in which the
1 25 registration holders reside in the child care homes."
