1 3 #1. Page 1, lines 26 and 27, by striking the words
1 4 "Iowa society of osteopathic medicine" and inserting
1 5 the following: "Iowa osteopathic medical
1 6 association".
1 7 #2. Page 2, by striking lines 9 through 18, and
1 8 inserting the following:
1 9 "4. The members of the commission shall be
1 10 appointed by the governor. The members shall serve
1 11 three-year, staggered terms and shall not serve more
1 12 than two consecutive terms. The membership of the
1 13 commission shall meet the requirements of section
1 14 69.16. Notwithstanding section 69.16A, the membership
1 15 of the commission shall meet the requirements of
1 16 section 69.16A only to the maximum extent possible.
1 17 Notwithstanding section 7E.6, the commission shall
1 18 receive compensation as provided under the contract
1 19 entered into by the department to implement this
1 20 section."
