2 3 If an acquiring agency acquires property by
2 4 condemnation, or by otherwise exercising the power of
2 5 eminent domain, and that property is later sold by the
2 6 acquiring agency for more than the acquisition price
2 7 paid to the landowner, the acquiring agency shall pay
2 8 to the landowner from whom the property was acquired
2 9 the difference between the price at which it was
2 10 acquired and the price at which it was sold by the
2 11 acquiring agency less the cost of any improvements
2 12 made to the land by the acquiring agency.
2 13 Sec. . NEW SECTION. 9.2A RECORDS RELATING TO
2 14 CONDEMNATION.
2 15 The secretary of state shall receive and preserve
2 16 in the secretary's office all papers transmitted to
2 17 the secretary in relation to condemnation and shall
2 18 keep an alphabetical list of acquiring agencies in a
2 19 book provided for that purpose, in which shall be
2 20 entered the name of the acquiring agency, the county
2 21 in which the real property is located, and the date
2 22 the condemnation application was filed."
