1 2 #1. Page 8, by inserting after line 24 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Sec. . NEW SECTION. 321.404A LIGHT-
1 5 RESTRICTING DEVICES PROHIBITED.
1 6 1. A person shall not operate a motor vehicle,
1 7 motorcycle, or motorized bicycle on the highways of
1 8 this state if it is equipped with a device that
1 9 restricts the light output of a head lamp required
1 10 under section 321.385 or 321.386, a rear lamp required
1 11 under section 321.387, a signal lamp or signal device
1 12 required under section 321.404, or a directional
1 13 signal device as described in section 321.317.
1 14 2. A person who violates this section shall be
1 15 subject to a scheduled fine under section 805.8,
1 16 subsection 2, paragraph "d"."
1 17 #2. Page 12, by inserting after line 27 the
1 18 following:
1 19 "Sec. . Section 805.8, subsection 2, paragraph
1 20 d, Code 1999, is amended to read as follows:
1 21 d. For improper equipment under section 321.404A
1 22 or section 321.438, subsection 2, the scheduled fine
1 23 is fifteen dollars."
1 24 #3. Title page, line 6, by inserting after the
1 25 word "education," the following: "equipment on
1 26 vehicles,".
1 27 #4. By renumbering as necessary.
