PAG LIN 1 1 Amend Senate File 203 as follows: 1 2 #1. Page 10, by striking lines 27 and 28 and 1 3 inserting the following: 1 4 "Sec. ___. Section 321E.8, subsections 2 and 3, 1 5 Code 1999, are amended to read as follows:" 1 6 #2. Page 11, by inserting after line 10 the 1 7 following: 1 8 "3. Vehicles with indivisible loads, including 1 9 mobile homes and factory-built structures, having an 1 10 overall width not to exceed sixteen feet zero inches 1 11 and an overall length not to exceed one hundred twenty 1 12 feet zero inches may be moved under an annual or all- 1 13 systems permit and must have a route specified by the 1 14 issuing authority prior to the movement. However, 1 15 vehicles with indivisible loads, including mobile 1 16 homes and factory-built structures, with an overall 1 17 width not exceeding fourteen feet six inches may 1 18 exceed fifty miles under an annual and all-systems 1 19 permit when prior approval for trip routing is 1 20 obtained from the issuing authority.TheA vehicle 1 21 and load being moved according to this paragraph shall 1 22 not exceedthefifteen feet five inches in heightas1 23prescribed in section 321.456and shall not exceed the 1 24 total gross weight as prescribed in section 321.463." 1 25 #3.
