  1  1    Section 1.  Section 422.45, Code Supplement 1999, is
  1  2 amended by adding the following new subsection
  1  3    NEW SUBSECTION.  39A.  The gross receipts from the sale or
  1  4 rental of egg grading equipment and egg processing equipment,
  1  5 and the furnishing or service of gas or electricity used in
  1  6 egg production.  
  1  7                           EXPLANATION
  1  8    The bill exempts from the sales and use taxes sales and
  1  9 rentals of egg grading and processing equipment, and the
  1 10 furnishing of gas or electricity used in egg production.
