  1  1    Section 1.  Section 481A.130, subsection 1, paragraph h,
  1  2 Code 1999, is amended to read as follows:
  1  3    h.  For each deer, except as provided in paragraph "g", and
  1  4 for each swan or crane, one thousand five hundred dollars.  
  1  5                           EXPLANATION 
  1  6    This bill provides for the imposition of civil damages of
  1  7 $1,500 for the illegal taking of a swan or a crane.
