  1  1    Section 1.  The Tiger Swallowtail butterfly is hereby
  1  2 designated and shall hereafter be officially known as the
  1  3 state insect of Iowa.
  1  4    Sec. 2.  The editor of the Iowa official register shall
  1  5 include an appropriate photograph illustrating the Tiger
  1  6 Swallowtail butterfly, accompanied by suitable text, in the
  1  7 section devoted to official state symbols.  
  1  8                           EXPLANATION
  1  9    This resolution designates the Tiger Swallowtail butterfly
  1 10 as the official state insect of Iowa.  The resolution provides
  1 11 that the Tiger Swallowtail butterfly be included in the
  1 12 section of the Iowa official register which lists official
  1 13 state symbols.
