1 1 Section 1. Section 350.4, subsection 6, Code 1999, is
1 2 amended to read as follows:
1 3 6. To employ and fix the compensation of a director who
1 4 shall be responsible to the county conservation board for the
1 5 carrying out of its policies. The director, subject to the
1 6 approval of the board, may employ and fix the compensation of
1 7 assistants and employees as necessary for carrying out this
1 8 chapter. However, the county conservation board may request
1 9 the board of supervisors to employ and fix the compensation of
1 10 the director and other employees of the county conservation
1 11 board.
1 12 EXPLANATION
1 13 This bill provides that the county conservation board may
1 14 request the board of supervisors to employ and fix the
1 15 compensation of the director and other employees of the county
1 16 conservation board.
