  1  1    Section 1.  Section 558A.1, subsection 4, Code 1999, is
  1  2 amended by adding the following new paragraph:
  1  3    NEW PARAGRAPH.  i.  A transfer of newly constructed
  1  4 residential real property which has never been occupied.  
  1  5                           EXPLANATION
  1  6    This bill amends the definition of "transfer" for purposes
  1  7 of real estate disclosure requirements under Code chapter 558A
  1  8 to exclude a transfer of newly constructed residential real
  1  9 property which has never been occupied.
