1 3 RELATING TO VISITATION PROVISIONS BETWEEN SIBLINGS UNDER A
1 4 CUSTODY ORDER.

1 6 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:

1 8 Section 1. Section 598.41, Code 1999, is amended by adding
1 9 the following new subsection:
1 10 NEW SUBSECTION. 5A. If the parties have more than one
1 11 minor child, and the court awards each party the physical
1 12 custody of one or more of the children, upon application by
1 13 either party, and if it is reasonable and in the best interest
1 14 of the children, the court shall include a provision in the
1 15 custody order directing the parties to allow visitation
1 16 between the children in each party's custody.
