1 7 state in section 294A.25, subsection 1, there is
1 8 appropriated from the general fund of the state to the
1 9 department of education in lieu of the appropriation
1 10 made in section 294A.25, subsection 1, for the fiscal
1 11 year beginning July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001,
1 12 the following amount:
