  1  1    Amend the Senate amendment, H-9094, to House File
  1  2 2560, as amended, passed, and reprinted by the House,
  1  3 as follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 1, line 30, by striking the words "one
  1  5 hundred twenty" and inserting the following:
  1  6 "ninety".
  1  7    #2.  Page 1, lines 32 and 33, by striking the words
  1  8 "one hundred twenty-day" and inserting the following:
  1  9 "ninety-day".
  1 10    #3.  Page 1, by striking lines 36 through 39 and
  1 11 inserting the following:
  1 12    "#   .  Page 7, line 11, by inserting after the
  1 13 word "office" the following:  ", in consultation with
  1 14 the department of economic development,"."
  1 15    #4.  Page 4, by inserting after line 5 the
  1 16 following:
  1 17    "#   .  Page 17, by inserting before line 18 the
  1 18 following:
  1 19    "Sec.    .  The legislative council is requested to
  1 20 establish an interim study committee to review the
  1 21 benefits of allowing state tax credits to be
  1 22 transferable.  In reviewing the transferability of
  1 23 state tax credits, the study committee shall analyze
  1 24 the benefits to the transferor, the transferee, and to
  1 25 the state, the administrative costs involved, the
  1 26 conditions under which transferability should be
  1 27 allowed, and the restrictions that should be placed on
  1 28 transferability, if any.  The study committee's report
  1 29 along with its recommendations shall be filed with the
  1 30 legislative council by January 1, 2001.""
