1 2 #1. Page 1, line 17, by inserting after the word
1 3 "Property" the following: "or district".
1 4 #2. Page 2, line 5, by inserting after the word
1 5 "date." the following: "For purposes of this chapter,
1 6 "rehabilitation costs" are the costs of work done to
1 7 the actual structure and do not include costs
1 8 associated with landscaping."
1 9 #3. Page 2, by inserting before line 6 the
1 10 following:
1 11 "Any rehabilitation costs used in the computation
1 12 of the tax credit under this chapter shall not be
1 13 deductible for purposes of individual and corporate
1 14 income taxes."
1 15 #4. Page 2, by inserting after line 25 the
1 16 following:
1 17 "c. The approval process shall not exceed sixty
1 18 days beginning from the date the rehabilitation
1 19 project is submitted. After the sixty-day limit, the
1 20 rehabilitation project is deemed to be approved."
1 21 #5. Page 5, by inserting after line 22 the
1 22 following:
1 23 "Sec. . APPLICABILITY PROVISION. Chapter 404A,
1 24 enacted in this Act, applies to rehabilitation
1 25 projects initiated on or after July 1, 2000, for which
1 26 no expenses have been incurred prior to that date."
