  1  1    Amend Senate File 2435, as amended, passed and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 23, by inserting before line 28, the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  MEDICAL ASSISTANCE – INFANTS.  There
  1  6 is appropriated from the general fund of the state to
  1  7 the department of human services for the fiscal year
  1  8 beginning July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001, the
  1  9 following amount, or so much thereof as is necessary,
  1 10 to be used for increasing the medical assistance
  1 11 eligibility limit for infants under the pregnant women
  1 12 and infants category to 200 percent of the federal
  1 13 poverty level:  
  1 14 .................................................. $    126,848"
  1 15    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
