  1  1    Amend Senate File 2435 as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 24, by inserting after line 31, the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "___.  The department of human services shall seek
  1  6 a waiver from the health care financing administration
  1  7 of the United States department of health and human
  1  8 services to permit families with children who are
  1  9 eligible for medical assistance to elect to
  1 10 participate under the HAWK-I program in lieu of
  1 11 participation in the medical assistance program.  If
  1 12 the waiver is approved, the department shall implement
  1 13 the provision."
