1 7 #3. Page 2, line 25, by inserting after the word
1 8 "cost." the following: "If the rehabilitation project
1 9 does not meet the criteria and standards established
1 10 by the local bodies and the department, the department
1 11 shall disapprove the application for tax credit."
1 12 #4. Page 2, line 27, by striking the word "may"
1 13 and inserting the following: "shall".

1 17 standards shall be to ensure that a".

1 20 credits that may be approved pursuant to this chapter
1 21 shall not exceed two million dollars in a fiscal year.
1 22 If the total of the tax credits for all rehabilitation
1 23 projects that qualify for tax credits exceeds two
1 24 million dollars in a fiscal year, the department shall
1 25 grant the tax credits on a pro rata basis so that the
1 26 total amount of tax credits approved for the fiscal
1 27 year does not exceed two million dollars."

1 29 following: "certificates to be attached to the
1 30 person's tax return. Tax credit certificates shall be
1 31 issued in amounts not greater than twenty-five
1 32 thousand dollars. Each".
1 33 #8. Page 3, line 25, by inserting after the word
1 34 "credit" the following: "certificate".
1 35 #9. Page 3, by striking line 27 and inserting the
1 36 following: "tax credit certificate to any other
1 37 person. However, not more than twenty-five thousand
1 38 dollars in tax credit certificates may be transferred
1 39 to any one person, except if the transferor is a
1 40 nonprofit organization. A tax credit certificate
1 41 shall".
