  1  1    Amend House File 2555 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 10, by striking lines 16 through 23, and
  1  3 inserting the following:  "the provision.  The rules
  1  4 shall be published by the department as notice of
  1  5 intended action no later than June 14, 2000, and shall
  1  6 adopt rules on an emergency basis effective on or
  1  7 after August 1, 2000."
  1  8    #2.  Page 10, by inserting before line 24, the
  1  9 following:
  1 10    "Sec.    .  EFFECTIVE DATE.  Section 1, subsection
  1 11 1, and section 2 of this Act, being deemed of
  1 12 immediate importance, take effect upon enactment."
  1 13    #3.  Title page, line 2, by inserting after the
  1 14 word "fund" the following:  "and providing an
  1 15 effective date."
  1 16    #4.  By renumbering as necessary.
