1 2 #1. Page 5, line 18, by inserting after the word
1 3 "section" the following: "and shall develop and
1 4 implement a method for allocating moneys based upon
1 5 the need for skills and occupations for which an
1 6 applied technical education is required".
1 7 #2. Page 6, by striking lines 9 through 12 and
1 8 inserting the following: "less. The grants shall be
1 9 awarded on an annual basis. Applicants who meet the
1 10 application deadline shall be ranked by the commission
1 11 in order of need. The commission shall award grants
1 12 to applicants in order of need beginning with
1 13 applicants with the greatest need, insofar as funds
1 14 permit. If a student receiving grant moneys
1 15 discontinues attendance before the end of any term,
1 16 the entire amount of any refund due that student, up
1 17 to the amount of any payments made under the grant,
1 18 shall be paid by the institution to the state for
1 19 deposit in the accelerated career education grant
1 20 fund."
