  1  1    Amend Senate File 2429, as passed by the Senate, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 17, by inserting after line 5 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  CHILDHOOD LEAD POISONING PREVENTION
  1  6 PROGRAM – FUNDING.  For the fiscal year beginning
  1  7 July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001, from the tax
  1  8 revenue received by the state racing and gaming
  1  9 commission pursuant to section 99D.15, subsections 1,
  1 10 3, and 4, an amount equal to three-tenths of one
  1 11 percent of the gross sum wagered by the pari-mutuel
  1 12 method, not to exceed $100,000, is appropriated to the
  1 13 Iowa department of public health.  The moneys
  1 14 appropriated pursuant to this section shall be used to
  1 15 supplement amounts otherwise budgeted for the
  1 16 childhood lead poisoning prevention program."
