1 3 #1. Page 1, line 14, by inserting before the word
1 4 "This" the following: "Certification fees established
1 5 by the board shall be collected and retained by the
1 6 department of agriculture and land stewardship,
1 7 deposited into a veterinary clinic certification fund
1 8 created in the state treasury under the authority of
1 9 the department, and appropriated to the department to
1 10 implement the provisions of this subsection. Amounts
1 11 deposited in the fund shall not be transferred, used,
1 12 obligated, appropriated, or otherwise encumbered
1 13 except as provided in this subsection.
1 14 Notwithstanding section 12C.7, subsection 2, interest
1 15 or earnings on moneys deposited into the fund shall be
1 16 credited to the fund. Amounts deposited in the fund
1 17 that remain unexpended or unencumbered at the close of
1 18 the fiscal year shall remain in the fund for
1 19 utilization as provided in this subsection for the
1 20 following fiscal year."
