  1  1    Amend Senate File 2302, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 5, by striking lines 3 through 13.
  1  4    #2.  Page 9, by striking lines 18 through 31 and
  1  5 inserting the following:
  1  6    "Sec.    .  Section 331.605, subsection 6, Code
  1  7 Supplement 1999, is amended to read as follows:
  1  8    6.  For filing an application for the license to
  1  9 marry, thirty dollars which includes payment for one
  1 10 certified copy of the original certificate of
  1 11 marriage, to be issued following filing of the
  1 12 original certificate of marriage.  For issuing an
  1 13 application for an order of the district court
  1 14 authorizing the validation of a license to marry
  1 15 before the expiration of three days from the date of
  1 16 issuance of the license, five dollars.  The district
  1 17 court shall authorize the early validation of a
  1 18 marriage license without the payment of any fees
  1 19 imposed in this subsection upon showing that the
  1 20 applicant is unable to pay the fees."
  1 21    #3.  Page 10, by striking line 4 and inserting the
  1 22 following:  "fifteen days to the county registrar, who
  1 23 issued the".
  1 24    #4.  Page 10, by striking lines 8 through 14, and
  1 25 inserting the following:
  1 26    "Following receipt of the original certificate of
  1 27 marriage pursuant to section 144.36, the county
  1 28 registrar shall issue a certified copy of the original
  1 29 certificate of marriage to the parties to the
  1 30 marriage."
  1 31    #5.  By renumbering as necessary.
