1 2 #1. By striking page 41, line 27, through page 42,
1 3 line 11, and inserting the following:
1 4 "e. The board may approve a mechanism for
1 5 equalizing the generation component of individual zone
1 6 rates and charges of an incumbent provider on a
1 7 revenue neutral basis, if the board determines it to
1 8 be in the public interest. The equalization shall
1 9 occur over a period determined by the board to be just
1 10 and reasonable, but in no event shall the equalization
1 11 period be less than five years. The board, in its
1 12 discretion, may consider the electric operations of
1 13 affiliated incumbent providers to be a single
1 14 operation for purposes of equalizing zone prices."
