1 4 "Sec. . IPERS ENHANCED DISABILITY – DEFINED
1 5 CONTRIBUTION AND PORTABILITY STUDY. There is
1 6 appropriated from the Iowa public employees'
1 7 retirement system fund to the Iowa public employees'
1 8 retirement system division for the fiscal year
1 9 beginning July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001, the
1 10 following amounts, or so much thereof as is necessary,
1 11 to be used for the purposes designated:
1 12 1. If 2000 Iowa Acts, Senate File 2411 is enacted
1 13 and provides enhanced disability for IPERS' public
1 14 safety members, for expenses relating to the
1 15 disability provisions:
1 16 .................................................. $ 430,411
1 17 2. If 2000 Iowa Acts, Senate File 2411 is enacted
1 18 and directs the IPERS division to study methods of
1 19 providing enhanced portability into and out of IPERS,
1 20 for expenses related to the study proposal and the
1 21 implementation of section 23 of this Act:
1 22 .................................................. $ 100,000"
