  1  1    Amend House File 2544 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 19, by inserting after line 31 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  Section 566.35, subsection 1, Code
  1  5 Supplement 1999, is amended to read as follows:
  1  6    1.  If a person notifies a governmental subdivision
  1  7 or agency of the existence within the jurisdiction of
  1  8 the governmental subdivision or agency of a burial
  1  9 site of the person's ancestor on property owned by
  1 10 another person, the owner of the property shall permit
  1 11 the person or any caretaker reasonable ingress and
  1 12 egress for the purposes of visiting or maintaining the
  1 13 burial site, and the governmental subdivision or
  1 14 agency shall notify the owner of this obligation."
