1 1 Amend the amendment, H-8239, to House File 2392 as
1 2 follows:
1 3 #1. Page 1, line 9, by striking the word "Each"
1 4 and inserting the following: "If the general assembly
1 5 creates and provides a funding mechanism for a program
1 6 to provide financial assistance to major attraction
1 7 projects with a total cost of at least twenty million
1 8 dollars, then, each fiscal year, at least one-third of
1 9 the financial assistance awarded from the community
1 10 attraction and tourism development fund shall be
1 11 awarded to projects located in counties with a
1 12 population ranking in the thirty-three counties with
1 13 the lowest populations according to the most recent
1 14 census. If the general assembly does not create or
1 15 provide a funding mechanism for a program to provide
1 16 financial assistance to major attraction projects with
1 17 a total cost of at least twenty million dollars, then,
1 18 each".
1 19 #2. Page 1, line 11, by striking the word "this"
1 20 and inserting the following: "the community
1 21 attraction and tourism development".
