  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-8057, to House File 2392 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 7 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "7.  The commission shall not review any
  1  6 applications or make any recommendations to the
  1  7 department until chapter 422E is amended to provide an
  1  8 equitable formula for distribution of sales tax
  1  9 revenues in order that all school districts in the
  1 10 state receive a fair share of such revenues.  The
  1 11 department shall not award financial assistance to an
  1 12 applicant under the program unless the commission has
  1 13 submitted a favorable recommendation to the
  1 14 department."
