  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-8057, to House File 2392 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 10 through 12 and
  1  4 inserting the following:
  1  5    "#   .  By striking page 2, line 26, through page
  1  6 3, line 5, and inserting the following:
  1  7    "When reviewing the applications, the The
  1  8 department shall consider, at a minimum, award
  1  9 financial assistance to applicants that are
  1 10 geographically diverse.  In order to receive financial
  1 11 assistance under the program, an applicant must
  1 12 demonstrate and the department must find all of the
  1 13 following:
  1 14    1.  Whether the The wages, benefits, including
  1 15 health benefits, safety, and other attributes of the
  1 16 project would improve the quality of attraction and
  1 17 tourism employment in the community.
  1 18    2.  The extent to which such a project would
  1 19 generate additional attraction and tourism
  1 20 opportunities.
  1 21    3.  The ability of the project to would produce a
  1 22 long-term tax generating economic impact.
  1 23    4.  The location of the projects and geographic
  1 24 diversity of the applications.
  1 25    5. 4.  The extent to which any part of the proposed
  1 26 project meets the definition of vertical
  1 27 infrastructure in section 8.57, subsection 5,
  1 28 paragraph "c".""
